TreeFell
Break a single log block and watch the entire tree come down instantly.
No more clicking block by block up a trunk. Hit one log, and every connected log in that tree is felled at once ā leaves stay put and decay naturally, just like vanilla.
Features
- ā” Instant tree felling ā break one log, the whole trunk goes with it
- š Leaves untouched ā no weird floating-leaf cleanup, they decay normally
- šŖ Drops work as expected ā Fortune and Silk Touch apply normally to every block broken
- š² Works with any wood ā vanilla and modded logs alike, as long as they use
the standard
minecraft:logstag - š”ļø Griefing-safe ā capped at 512 blocks per tree, so it can't be abused on giant wooden builds
- š„ļø Server-side only ā players don't need the mod installed client-side to play on a server that has it
How it works
TreeFell hooks into a single Fabric API event and performs a breadth-first search across connected log blocks the moment you break one. No Mixins, no client-side rendering tricks ā just a clean, lightweight server-side check.
Requirements
- Fabric Loader 0.19.3+
- Fabric API (required dependency)
- Minecraft 26.2
Compatibility
Server-side only ā works in singleplayer too, and doesn't need to be installed on the client to function on a server.
