BountyReputation adds a dynamic Bounty + Reputation system to your SMP server.
Players who kill others become wanted criminals, while players who trade and play peacefully can become respected heroes.
This creates real risk/reward PvP, player-driven hunting, and long-term progression without breaking survival gameplay.
How It Works
When a player kills another player:
- Their reputation goes down
- Their killstreak goes up
- A bounty is automatically added to their head
If a wanted player is killed:
- Their bounty is claimed by the killer
Players can also place bounties manually:
/bounty add <player> <amount>
Reputation Tiers
- Hero: high reputation, gets small buffs (regen + luck)
- Neutral: normal state
- Criminal: low reputation, red name, punished in safe zones
Safe Zones / Towns
In configured safe zones:
- PvP is disabled
- Criminals receive debuffs
- Nearby Iron Golems can target criminals as “guards”
Perfect for spawn towns and trade hubs.
Commands
/bounty top→ shows top wanted players/bounty hunt [player]→ pick a bounty target (compass tracks target)/bounty add <player> <amount>→ place money bounty on a player/rep [player]→ view reputation tier, score, and bounty
