MOD IS IN HIATUS BEACUSE IM DOING CUBIC CHUNKS. That will propably take a while.
Outflow is a complete overhaul of Minecraft hydrology and terrain surfaces. Outflow unlocks lake generation at any altitude (breaking the hardcoded Y=63 limit) with smooth bathymetry, and includes a built-in fix for steep surface rules (MC-258859) to generate realistic stone cliffs instead of dirt stairs.
This is a pure Java mod built for the Fabric toolchain, designed to bring realistic, high-performance geological and hydrological formations to your world.
Why this is NOT a datapack:
Dynamic Topography Scanning: The mod runs asynchronous tasks to analyze the surrounding terrain in real-time, calculating natural drainage basins and outflow points.
True Altitude Flexibility: Instead of blindly placing water at a hardcoded sea level, it dynamically floods depressions at any height, creating organic alpine lakes and glaciated valleys.
Advanced Surface Rules: It directly fixes vanilla limitations, replacing ugly dirt stairs on steep terrain with sheer, majestic stone cliffs.
# Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which versions are supported?
A: The mod is being actively developed for Fabric on Minecraft 26.2.
⚠️ Current Development Status ⚠️
The mod is currently in its Alpha phase. While the core systems are stable, please expect occasional bugs, performance hiccups, and other funny, unintended terrain generations. If you find something weird, feel free to report it on our Discord!
