PyroVillager is a lightweight, modern Paper plugin for Minecraft that introduces a specialized Pyrotechnician villager profession. Designed for survival economies, technical servers, and quality-of-life gameplay, it provides a reliable and immersive way to obtain rockets and shulker shells without breaking vanilla balance.

  • Custom Profession: Adds a fully integrated Pyrotechnician villager with a custom display name and persistent configuration.
  • Custom Workstation: Uses the Dispenser as a job site block. Unemployed villagers and nitwits will claim a dispenser to become Pyrotechnicians.
  • Balanced Progression Trades: Offers tiered trades ranging from resource conversion (paper/gunpowder) to high-tier flight rockets and decorative firework stars.
  • Endgame Resource Sink: Features an exclusive master-tier trade allowing players to acquire Shulker Shells using emeralds and rockets.
  • Data Persistence: Utilizes Paper's PersistentDataContainer API to ensure villager data and custom trades persist safely across server restarts and chunk unloads.

Installation

  1. Ensure your server is running Paper (or a compatible fork) for Minecraft 1.26.1+.
  2. Download the PyroVillager.jar file.
  3. Drop the file into your server's plugins folder.
  4. Start or restart your server.
  5. Place a Dispenser near an unemployed villager to test the workstation mechanic.
