Ominous Alchemy
Turns the cauldron into a real brewing station. Fill it with water, heat it over fire or lava, charge it with Ominous Bottles, and toss in recipe ingredients to craft powerful multi-use flasks.
How to brew
- Right-click a cauldron with a water bucket
- Keep a fire, soul fire, campfire or lava block underneath until the water boils (6 seconds by default)
- Throw in an Ominous Bottle — up to 3 charges per cauldron
- Add the recipe ingredients (sugar, wind charges, blaze powder, echo shards and more)
- The finished flask pops out of the cauldron
Recipes
| Flask | Effects |
|---|---|
| Windwalker's Draught | Speed I + Slow Falling |
| Bulwark's Blood | Resistance I + Health Boost |
| Shadeveil Tonic | Invisibility + Night Vision |
| Emberheart Flask | Strength I + Fire Resistance + Haste |
Every recipe is configurable — ingredients, effects, durations, colors and flask charges.
Volatile reactions
Mixing incompatible ingredients is dangerous:
- Explosion pairs — a miniature wind explosion that throws entities around
- Gas pairs — a lingering toxic cloud that poisons and slows
- Summon pairs — a Corrupted Bogged claws its way out of the brew
Flasks
Flasks are multi-use potion flasks. Right-click one to spend a charge; each recipe configures how many charges it starts with.
