G'day mates!
Tired of standard, boring translation files? This lightweight language resource pack injects a thick, heavy layer of classic Aussie slang and regional stereotypes directly into your game. It gives your entire playthrough a massive colloquial overhaul, transforming standard survival into high-vis Hard Yakka Mode!
🇦🇺 What This Pack Overhauls
- Mobs & Wildlife: Watch out for shoe-stealing Bogans (Zombies), Rattly Bones (Skeletons), annoying Mozzies (Phantoms), and massive Big Units (Iron Golems). Wildlife also gets a native upgrade, turning wolves into Dingoes, parrots into Cockatoos, and rabbits into Wallabies (including Skippy!).
- Tradie Gear & Tools: Suit up for the job site with a full iron kit featuring a Hard Hat, High-Vis Vest, and Work Boots. Upgrade your weapons to backyard Cricket Bats or The Croc Dundee Special, and dig deep using The Jackhammer or The Tree Feller.
- Outback Ecology & Minerals: All basic trees are renamed to native flora (including Eucalyptus, Gum, and Jarrah logs, planks, and stairs). Ores turn into raw mining materials like Paydirt and Jackpot Rocks, while warm oceans morph into Tropical Reef Waters teeming with Great Barrier Reef corals.
- The Pantry: Stock your Eskies full of Damper, Spuds, Bikkies, and Roast Chooks. If you get thirsty out in the bush, crack open A Cold One (Splash Potions) or fuel up on a stiff bottle of Bundaberg Rum (Strength).
- Hilarious Custom Death Messages: Get roasted by the server whenever you cark it! Features custom local text for missing water drops, slipping off scaffolding, getting rolled by an eshay, or trying to pick a fight with Skippy and losing, and much more.
🛠️ How to Enable It
- Drop the compiled .zip file straight into your Minecraft resourcepacks folder.
- Activate the pack in your in-game Resource Packs menu.
- Open your Minecraft Language settings and ensure your language is explicitly ticked over to English (Australia).
