HeartRevive, Hardcore co-op with heart sharing
Concept
HeartRevive is a hardcore Minecraft plugin that turns death into a collective decision.
When a player dies, they are removed from active gameplay.
However, instead of being gone forever, other players can choose to sacrifice part of their own maximum health to bring them back.
Every heart matters. Survival is no longer individual, but shared.
How it works
Player death:
When a player dies, they are switched to Spectator mode, they can't move anymore and they have a darkness effect.
They cannot return to the game on their own.
Revival:
Alive players can donate their maximum hearts.
Donating hearts permanently reduces the donor’s max health.
Once the dead player receive a donation, he is revived at his spawnpoint.
The player is returned to Survival mode.
A global message announces their return.
Example:
Player A: 20 HP
Player B: 20 HP
Player C: 20 HP
Player A: 20 HP
Player B: 20 HP
Player C: dead
Player A gives 3 hearts → 17 HP
Player B gives 1 heart → 19 HP
Player C returns with 4 hearts
Command
/donatehp <player> <hearts>
Donate a portion of your maximum health to a dead player.

Note
For the plugin to work, the server must NOT be in hardcore mode. Otherwise, the dead player will be automatically banned.
I did this with ChatGPT because it originally seemed like it would just be a server with friends, but I thought it could be cool to share it with other people.
