Horse Jump Timer
Never fumble a mount jump again. Tap jump once while riding a horse, donkey, mule, or camel the mod holds the charge and lets go at the exact peak of the jump strength bar, every time.
The Problem
Getting a max-height mount jump means holding jump until the strength bar is completely full and releasing at just the right instant. Release too early and you get a weak hop. Hesitate a frame too long and you lose height too. Doing this by hand consistently, is very hard to master.
What It Does
- Tap jump, that's it. You don't need to hold anything. A single tap starts a full charge automatically.
- Perfect release, every time. The mod tracks the jump strength bar tick by tick and releases the instant it peaks, so you get maximum height on every jump.
- Toggle on/off. Bound to J by default (rebindable in Options → Controls → Key Binds), so you can switch back to manual jumping whenever you want.
- Stays out of the way. It only ever activates while you're mounted on something that can charge a jump. Normal on-foot jumping is completely untouched.
- Client-side only. No server-side component, no world/save changes, nothing to install for other players.
How to Use
- Mount a horse, donkey, mule, or camel.
- Tap the jump key once.
- That's it, the mod charges and releases the jump for you at peak height.
- Press J any time to toggle the feature on or off.
Compatibility
- Loader: Fabric
- Side: Client only
- Requires: Fabric API
Notes
This mod only changes when the jump key releases during a charge you already started — it never presses jump on your own behalf, and it doesn't affect any other movement mechanic. Some servers restrict input automation of any kind, so check your server's rules before using it in multiplayer.
