Real Time Sync Minecraft Data Pack
Normally Minecraft's daylight cycle is 72× faster than that of the real world, but it can be fun to change things up and play with a more realistic atmosphere. This pack not only slows down the daylight cycle but also syncs it with the daylight cycle of the real world, providing a unique experience reminiscent of Animal Crossing or Pokémon.
Why a data pack?
While Minecraft's daylight cycle can be controlled with the /time rate command and easily slowed down to the speed of real life, it has some glaring downsides. Anytime your Minecraft world isn't actively running the time will get out of sync, and before you know it day will be night and night will be day. This is an unavoidable issue, as anything short of 100% uptime will cause some drifting between the clocks. This datapack avoids the issue completely by reading your computer's system time and adjusting the in-game time accordingly.
