EchoTeams
EchoTeams is a team plugin for Paper servers. It lets players form groups, manage roles, chat privately, ally with other teams, and progress through a leveling system, with a full admin command set and extensive configuration options to tune how everything behaves.
Team Management
- Create a team with a name that follows configurable rules (length limits, allowed characters, uniqueness)
- Invite players, accept or decline invites, and leave a team
- Kick members, promote to admin, or demote back to member
- Transfer ownership to another member, with a confirmation dialog before it happens
- Disband a team, also gated behind a confirmation dialog
- Rename a team at any time
- View team info (members, roles, level, tag, settings)
- And more
Features
- Leveling and XP: teams gain XP passively over time based on how many members are online, following a configurable curve up to a max level, with announcements on level up
- Custom tags: once a team hits the required level, it can set a tag shown next to members' names, with custom colors and bracket styles (round, square, braces, angle)
- Allies: teams can send ally requests to each other, forming an alliance when both sides agree, with a dedicated ally chat channel
- Team chat: a private channel separate from normal server chat
- PvP toggle: teams can choose whether PvP is allowed between their own members
- Configurable everything: team size limits, name rules, tag unlock levels, color permissions, and more can all be adjusted to fit the server
Admin Tools
Server admins get a mirrored set of commands under /team admin to manage any team without needing to be a member: setting max team size, setting level or XP directly, renaming, inviting, kicking, promoting, demoting, transferring ownership, force-joining players, toggling PvP, and managing tags. There's also a social spy mode that lets admins read team and ally chat from any team, and a reload command for the config.
