Vital Reflexes

Vital Reflexes is a survival realism mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge) that adds basic human body functions you can’t ignore anymore.

You now need to manually breathe — inhale (Z) and exhale (X) every few seconds. If you forget, you’ll start to suffer from Weakness, Slowness, and eventually lose health.

On top of that, you must also blink (V) regularly. If you don’t, you’ll get Darkness effects and a red flashing screen border as a warning that your eyes are overdue for a blink.

All keybinds can be fully reconfigured in the controls menu.
