SeedScout
A Chunkbase-style seed map inside Minecraft. See the biome map for your world's seed, search for any structure, and click a result to get a waypoint with an on-screen arrow and a beam in the world.
SeedScout runs Minecraft's own world generation code instead of reimplementing it, so what the map shows is what the game actually generates.

Features
- Seed map: full biome map from the world seed, pan and zoom with three levels of detail.
- Structure icons: every vanilla overworld structure drawn on the map with its icon. Toggle types on and off; your choices are remembered.
- Search: pick a structure and a radius (2,000 to 50,000 blocks). Results are listed nearest first with coordinates and distance, and highlighted on the map.
- Waypoints: click a result or an icon to set a target. A HUD arrow shows direction and distance, and a beam marks the spot through terrain. The waypoint clears itself when you arrive. The beam can be turned off.
- Works on servers: client-side only. Enter the server's seed once and it is remembered per server.
How to use
- Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.11 with Fabric API, and drop the SeedScout jar into
mods. - In a world, press Y (rebindable under Controls) to open the map.
- Singleplayer reads the seed automatically. On a server, type the seed in the top field and click Apply.
- Choose a structure and radius on the right, click Search, then click a result to set a waypoint and follow the arrow.
Limitations
- Overworld only for now.
- Structure checks are biome based, so mansions, monuments, desert and jungle temples, and trial chambers can occasionally show a spot where the game decided not to generate one.
- Servers using custom world generation data packs are not supported.
Requirements
Minecraft 1.21.11, Fabric Loader, Fabric API.
