Overview

Bring CraftAttack-style elytra flight mechanics to your spawn area! This plugin lets players double-jump for elytra gliding and boost with the F key (Java) or Sneak (Bedrock) - no actual elytra wings required.

Works out of the box with a simple radius around spawn, or set up a fully custom rectangular area and center point in-game with /spawnelytra setup and /spawnelytra center - no config editing needed.

Configuration

SpawnElytra ships with two config files:

• config.yml - spawn area shape/radius, boost settings, flight duration limit, toggles for every message
• messages.yml - the actual text for every message, with & color codes and placeholders

A custom rectangular area and/or center point (set via /spawnelytra setup/center) are stored separately in a plugin-managed area.yml and take priority over config.yml, without ever touching or overwriting your comments there. Run /spawnelytra info to see what's actually active.

Note: Without a custom center, the plugin uses your world's spawn point (/setworldspawn) as the center for flight activation.

• /spawnelytra visualize [seconds] - Outline the current spawn area with particles
• /spawnelytra setup - Wizard to define a custom rectangular area (pos1/pos2/save/cancel/reset)
• /spawnelytra center [reset] - Set or reset a custom flight-area center point

Bedrock Edition Support

SpawnElytra automatically detects Bedrock players via Floodgate or the Geyser-Spigot API and provides:

• Virtual elytra system - No need for physical elytra items
• Sneak-to-boost - Natural boost mechanic for Bedrock controls
• Chestplate preservation - Saved on the player's own data and restored on landing, death, or world change
• Inventory protection - The virtual elytra can't be displaced by equipping other armor mid-flight
