Motion Blur adds smooth, directional camera-based motion blur to Minecraft Fabric 1.20.1.

The effect reacts to your camera movement and follows the direction you are looking, creating a more cinematic and fluid visual experience without changing normal gameplay mechanics.

Options → Controls → Key Binds → Motion Blur

Available controls:

Enable/Disable Motion Blur Turns the effect on or off.

Motion Blur Strength Cycles through blur strength levels:

1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5

Motion Blur is designed to work alongside Iris + Sodium and can be used with shaderpacks.

Compatibility with every shaderpack is not guaranteed.

Performance

Motion Blur uses post-processing with multiple samples to create a smooth effect. Performance impact may vary depending on resolution, hardware, shaderpack, and selected blur strength.
