Macy's End Egg Tweaks

A mod that adds new behaviors and quirks to having the Ender Dragon Egg. This mod is intended for use on the umacycrimes' Crime SMP as well as other Server environments but should work on Client side too.

A list of all the quirks that are currently implemented follows.

Buffs

Buffs when the egg is in your inventory

• +5% move speed bonus.
• Silly ender particles spawn around you.
• +2 armor points.

Buffs when it's held in either hand

• Damage boost equivalent to strength 2.
• +4 armor toughness.
• +10% move speed (only in the main hand) for a total of about +12%.
• Can perform pogo starting trick if the mace is in the main hand.

Nerfs

• Portal sickness (Bad Omen 15min, Slowness 2min 30sec, Nausea 30 sec, Blindness 15 sec).
• Perma visible on the locator bar (mostly).
• Chance to spawn a vengeful enderman when killing a humanoid (It can happen very rarely without the Egg).
• Ender particles spawn more than normal when held (Could be distracting).
• Unable to put the Dragon Egg inside a bundle normally.
• Increase Warden aggression while having the Egg.

A Karma System (Only active while holding the Egg)

• PvP (should) impact karma more than PvE.
• Combat-logging hurts karma.
• Starting a fight slightly hurts karma.
• Someone else starting a fight with you boosts your karma.
• Fighting back will boost karma.
• Killing certain mobs under certain conditions will either boost or hurt karma.
• Killing a player significantly weaker than you dramatically hurts karma most times.

The Egg Tracker

An individual Dragon Egg Tracker is saved to each world (not each dimension). The Dragon Egg can be tracked when

• In a player's inventory in any slot.
• Most types of chests.
• Any Lockable Storage Block.
• Item frames.
• As an Item on the ground.
• Placed like a block.
• Held by most entities with storage.

The Dragon Egg is returned to the End Pedestal if it hasn't been tracked within the time limit provided by the gamerule. This prevents grabbing the Egg and simply logging off for a month.

All context of the Dragon Egg's last whereabouts can be seen with /macyegg where_egg when OPed.

A Special Compass can be used to track the last known location of the Dragon Egg. The Compass features

• Changeable recipe for the Dragon Egg Compass in data/macysendegg/recipe/dragon_egg_compass.
• Custom recipe unlock conditions in data/macysendegg/advancement/dragon_egg_compass.
• A gamerule for unlocking the recipe automatically after the dragon's first death.

Commands available

• /macyegg
• /my_eggkarma
• /eggkarma (Requires Op privileges.)

Gamerules added can be seen by typing "/gamerule macysendegg" into the command bar
