UtilMount β€” Summonable mounts with a clean GUI

UtilMount lets players summon their own personal mount with a single command: /mount. Pick your mount from a polished GUI, ride faster, jump higher, and carry items in a persistent saddlebag.

Plugin for Paper 1.21.x servers.

  • /mount opens a GUI β€” choose your mount, or summon it directly with /mount <tier>

  • Persistent saddlebags β€” sneak + right-click your mount to open its inventory. Contents are saved per player and per tier, and survive despawns and restarts.
  • Owner-only mounts β€” nobody else can ride or open your mount. Mounts are invulnerable and despawn when you dismount or log out.
  • Per-tier permissions β€” gate each mount behind its own permission node.
  • Everything is configurable β€” speed/jump multipliers, slot counts, entity types (horse, donkey, camel, skeleton horse…), GUI icons and layout, permission nodes, and every message (MiniMessage formatting with colors and gradients). You can even add your own extra tiers in the config β€” the GUI and tab-completion adapt automatically.

Default permissions: everyone can use the command, donkey and horse; the warhorse is op-only (change it with your permissions plugin).

  1. Drop UtilMount-x.x.x.jar into your server's plugins/ folder
  2. Restart the server
  3. Edit plugins/UtilMount/config.yml to your liking, then restart
