^ — Beginning of the line.

?! — Negative Lookahead.

.* — Any line position.

(?:A|B|C) — Non-capturing argument to combine multiple conditions:

You feel hungry\.\.\. Your stats have worsened a little\. — First exact case.
You feel nourished! Your stats have improved a little\. — Second exact case.
EXP — Any occurrences of EXP.

.* — Captures the remaining content as long as any of the previous conditions haven't been met.
