The World Beneath is a vanilla-friendly mod that aims to expand the caves of minecraft adding six new cave biomes in the underground, each cave has a purpose to be explored and discovered.

‼️‼️The World Beneath is currently undergoing a major rework. ‼️‼️
Many biomes, mechanics, textures, structures, and features are being redesigned or replaced. Because of this, the current public version does not represent the final direction of the mod. Expect major changes in future updates.
Each biome is about to change, soon.
New caves
Glowing Caverns: Luminous caves full of glowing mushrooms that naturally light up the surroundings. They only generate beneath Mushroom Islands, creating a bioluminescent biome.
Molten Quarry: Oxidized depths filled with charred rock, lava and a new ore: the ferrosite, can be used for decoration and the thermal system. The molten quarry mainly generate in hot and desert regions.
Overgrowth Grotto: A dense underground jungle packed with giant toxic mushrooms, poisonous vegetation, and humid environments.
Salt Caves (soon): Underground caverns filled with vast salt and red salt formations, towering salt crystals, and valuable titanium deposits.
Golden Meadows (soon): Lush underground meadows filled with golden vegetation, towering Sallow trees, and a peaceful atmosphere that contrasts with the dangers of the underground.
Larva Hive (soon): Infested underground caverns made of reddish claystone and organic honeycomb, inhabited by aggressive larvae that attack in groups. Corrosive bile pools, deadly spikes, and hidden burrows make these colonies especially dangerous.
Mushroom Caverns
The mushroom fields now got a new upgrade, you can find some new glowing mushrooms below it and you can survive if you are starving or exploring.
Molten Quarry
The molten quarry is a cave filled up with lava and charred rock, here you can find ferrosite, a mineral similar to the copper and iron that can be useful for decoration, thermal system and special tools!
Overgrowth Grotto
The overgrowth grotto is a underground jungle with big toxic mushrooms, vegetation, and warm environments. You can find 2 new crops: the fiber and maqui berries. fiber can be useful for decoration and grappling hook.
