Details
The World Beneath is a vanilla-friendly mod that aims to expand the caves of minecraft adding five new cave biomes in the underground, each cave has a purpose to be explored and discovered.

New caves
Glowing Caverns: Luminous caves full of glowing mushrooms that naturally light up the surroundings. They only generate beneath Mushroom Islands, creating a bioluminescent biome.
Rusted Depths: Oxidized depths filled with burnt stone, lava and a new ore: the ferrosite, can be used for decoration and hand drills. The rusted depths mainly generate in hot and desert regions.
Overgrowth Grotto: A dense underground jungle packed with giant toxic mushrooms, poisonous vegetation, and humid environments.
Frostbound Chasm: Icy caves featuring glowing ice trees and delicate crystal flowers that illuminate the cold surroundings.
Acid Catacombs: Corrosive caves filled with acid lakes and a unique radioactive mineral.
Each biome has its own unique mineral.
Mushroom Caverns
The mushroom fields now got a new upgrade, you can find some new glowing mushrooms below it and you can survive if you are starving or exploring.
Rusted Depths
The rusted depths is a cave filled up with lava and charred rock, here you can find ferrosite, a mineral similar to the copper and iron that can be useful for decoration, hand drills and special tools!
Overgrowth Grotto
The overgrowth grotto is a underground jungle with big toxic mushrooms, vegetation, and warm environments. You can find 2 new crops: the fiber and maqui berries. fiber can be useful for decoration and ropes. With ropes and scarlet you can create the grappling hook.
Frostbound Chasm
The frostbound chasm is a icy cave with crystal trees with the gleam wood set and crystal flowers. you can find in here the sapphire, a bright blue gem to create the sapphire armor set and the builder's gauntlet.
Acid Catacombs
The acid catacombs is an underground biome made up of acid, rock pillars, and deposits of thorium, a rare green mineral. Thorium is a valuable resource that can be used to craft thorium bombs, grenade launcher and reinforced cinder, providing new options for combat and destruction.
