🔧 Manual Tweaks
Depending on your setup, various mods and resource packs can be disabled to further improve performance. Below is a list of common adjustments, ordered by their impact on performance:
- (🔺High) Distant Horizons's rendering can be disabled or tuned down to reduce CPU load. Alternatively, leave it running while AFK to pre-generate all LODs.
- (🔺High) Iris Shader are GPU-intensive and disabled by default. Some shaders may also have compatibility issues with other resources.
- (🔸Medium) Fresh Animations may cause stuttering on low-end PCs when many mobs are on screen; disable if necessary.
- (🔹Low) Flashback Recording can be resource-heavy during long sessions; disable if you're not using it frequently.
🪲 Known Issues
Sodium might show an "incompatible resource pack" warning when using ReShaded after adding, removing, Despite this they're fully compatible, something's just broken on either end.
Essential's menus and GUIs might be purple when using certain resource packs.
