5.2-1.21.x
Compatibility
Changes
๐ข Version 5.2 โ 1.21.x port
Waystones now also runs on Minecraft 1.21.x (Tricky Trials), up to and including 1.21.11 โ same plugin, same features.
๐ง Adapting to the 1.21 API
- No code changes were needed
- No new JDK change โ Java 21 remains sufficient across the whole 1.21.x line
- Tested and validated under real conditions on a test server (Falix)
- No feature added or changed, hence why the version number stays 5.2
๐ท๏ธ Naming
Generated jar: Waystone-5.2-1.21.x.jar (coexists with the 1.12.x โ 1.20.x jars)
๐ End of classic numbering
This is the last version ported under the old 1.X.Y scheme. The next step will follow the new year-based numbering (26.1.x, 26.2.x) adopted by Mojang in late 2025.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
