5.2-1.19.x
Compatibility
Changes
๐ข Version 5.2 โ 1.19.x port
Waystones now also runs on Minecraft 1.19.x (The Wild Update) โ same plugin, same features.
๐ง Adapting to the 1.19 API
- No code changes were needed โ the Wild Update added mangrove, warden, sculk, and the deep dark without touching any block/sound already used by Waystones
- No new JDK change โ Java 17 remains sufficient
- Tested and validated under real conditions on a test server (Falix)
- No feature added or changed, hence why the version number stays 5.2
๐ท๏ธ Naming
Generated jar: Waystone-5.2-1.19.x.jar (coexists with the 1.12.x โ 1.18.x jars)
โ ๏ธ Heads-up for what's next
The next step (1.20.x) includes a real item API rework in 1.20.5/1.20.6 (component system) โ the first step since 1.13 where a deeper code change is genuinely expected.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
