💎 Crystal NameTags
Crystal NameTags is a client-side Fabric mod that replaces Minecraft’s default player nametags
with stylish glass panels featuring animated gradients, health information, player heads, and smooth visual effects.
Everything is rendered entirely on your client—the server and other players do not need to install the mod.
✨ Features
🌈 Animated Nametags
Player names are displayed using a smooth animated gradient. You can customize:
Three gradient colors
Animation speed
Text weight
Text shadow, color, and brightness
❤️ Health Display
Display detailed health information next to each player’s name:
Current HP
Current and maximum HP
Health percentage
Whole or decimal values
Optional heart icon
Dynamic health-based colors
Custom fixed health color
📉 Smooth Health Bar
A compact animated health bar appears beneath each nametag.
When a player takes damage:
The health bar decreases smoothly
A red trail displays recently lost HP
The health indicator briefly flashes
The nametag reacts to the hit
🟡 Absorption Hearts
Absorption health is displayed using a separate golden bar with:
Smooth animation
Golden glow
Moving highlight
Clear absorption indicator
🚨 Critical Health Effects
When a player reaches critically low health:
A red warning glow appears
The background begins to pulse
The health bar becomes brighter
The heart icon pulses with a double beat
Effects become more intense as health decreases
🎯 Target Highlighting
Players under your crosshair are easier to identify:
The targeted nametag smoothly increases in size
An additional glow appears
The health bar is highlighted
Other nametags become slightly darker
This is especially useful during PvP and fast-paced combat.
👤 Player Head Rendering
Each nametag displays the player’s actual head from their Minecraft skin, including the second skin layer for details such as hats, hair, masks, and hoods.
Player heads are rendered at full brightness, keeping them visible even in dark environments.
🪟 Modern Glass Design
Nametags feature a clean glass-inspired appearance with:
Rounded backgrounds
Customizable colors and opacity
Colored glow
Animated borders
Glass highlights
Smooth appearing and disappearing animations
📏 Distance Scaling
