Why download?

If you've ever played Java Edition without mods, you probably know the pain of having low FPS and stutters. Well, this modpack is made to fix that! It includes all kinds of mods, from optimization to quality of life, plus it doesn't affect the vanilla gameplay!

Here are some of the features:

Performance

This modpack includes some essential optimization mods like Sodium and Lithium. Also, there are mods to optimize the chunk gen, like C2M and fast noise.

Shaders

Of course there's Iris, so you can run shaders. Matter of fact, a few are included! From personal experience, I recommend using Miniature Shader.

Battery saving

Mods like Dynamic FPS and FPS Reducer will help you save battery when AFK or doing anything other than Minecraft.

Other Quality of Life mods

Reese's Sodium Options and Sodium Extra are included. I highly recommend to turn on the Reduce resolution on macOS setting (in the Sodium Extra tab), since Retina displays have a really good resolution that you most likely won't need for Minecraft. Voxy is included too, if you like really big render distances. There are more mods, but there's simply too many to name them all.

Compatibility

Yes, this mod should work on basically every machine (that can run Java Edition). I don't know why you would download a mod advertised for Mac on Windows, but no one's stopping you.
