Assorted Terrain
Adds randomite ore, which drops something different every time you mine it, along with wells, fields and other little things to find out in the world.

Features
- Randomite ore drops something different every time you mine it. There's a deepslate version too.
- Deserts get deep wells that take the place of vanilla's desert wells, along with fields of cactus and sand pits.
- The plains get wild crop fields and patches of melons.
- The woods get stray saplings and old tree stumps.
Desert wells
These take the place of vanilla's desert wells. Wherever they generate, the vanilla well is left out so you never find the two side by side.
- A well looks like the one you know from above, but its shaft goes straight down 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 blocks of water.
- There's a chest at the bottom. What's in it depends on how deep the well is, and the deeper the well, the rarer the loot.
- Every well still has two blocks of suspicious sand just under the water, with the same finds as a vanilla well, so the pottery sherds you can only get from wells are all still there.
Updating from Assorted World 9.x
Worlds made with Assorted World 9.x keep everything when you switch to this mod. Don't install it beside Assorted World 9.x.
Config
These are in the assortedterrain-common config file.
desertWells.rarityis how rare the wells are. One in this many chunks gets one, and 0 turns them off.desertWells.replaceVanillatakes vanilla's desert well out of the biomes these generate in. On by default. Turn it off to get both.
Requirements
- Assorted Lib
- NeoForge, or Fabric Loader with Fabric API
Terrain also comes in Assorted World with the other World mods, if you'd rather have them all in one download.
