Xaero Head Tracker lets you see the location of other players on the server, regardless of distance, directly on Xaero's World Map.

Choose who you see (v2)

*Available since 2.0.0.

All players are hidden by default. Open the mod settings and tick the players you want to display on the map.

  • Search players by name, checked players on top, the others below.
  • A "Show other players" toggle displays everyone who is not checked.
  • Choices are saved per server, by player UUID, so a name change does not break anything.
  • Checked players stay in the list even when offline, so you can add a friend in advance.

Choose who sees you

*Available since 2.2.0.

Your position is only sent if you choose to share it.

  • Share with everyone, or only with the players you select.
  • When you stop sharing, your head disappears at once for other players.
  • After you leave, your last position stays visible to the players you chose for 7 days, or until you come back.
  • Server admins can turn sharing off for everyone with the game rule xaeroheadtracker:allow_sharing, which removes all heads and erases stored positions.

Features

  • Display heads and/or names, configurable.
  • Players who share their location are marked as Live.
  • When a sharing player disconnects, their last known location stays on your map and shows how long it has been since it was last updated.
  • Players who left before you joined also appear (since 2.3.0): the server keeps their last position, dimension and skin for 7 days, saved with the world.
  • Heads follow the dimension shown on the map, including with Xaero's dimension button.
  • Compatible with Xaero's Minimap: a nearby player drawn by the Minimap radar is not displayed twice.

Even if the mod is installed on the server, it is optional on the client side if you do not wish to use it, but it is required to display the positions of other players.
