Hey chat, welcome to CivPack Lite. I just found out you can make unlisted Modrinth uploads. Turns out that squidhasthedumb.
IMPORTANT NOTICES - PLEASE READ
- Please do NOT blindly paste over the config. It is FASTER to change your in-game settings than to fix the many possible issues caused by overwriting. If you must do it, then do so on a per-mod basis.
- Prism Launcher is very strongly recommended! Unless you are on ATLauncher and in love with it, please switch to Prism. Prism launcher provides the best end user experience, regardless of modpack.
- Uploading to Modrinth is an experiment of sorts. Unforeseen issues could arise. If none do, and the Modrinth upload is well received, I may continue to upload to Modrinth in the future.
Why should I use CivPack?
CivPack is about giving the best possible out-of-box experience to the broadest range of players. It is not only good for Newfriends, or Oldfriends, or Builders, or PVPers. I have made it for EVERYONE. CivPack has 4 core pillars:
- CivPack is legal for use on CivMC. Nobody should be getting banned for entities on their minimap having Y-level based shading.
- CivPack will include every required Civ mod, and then some. I keep on top of mod updates, forks, and alternatives to get as much in as possible.
- CivPack will always offer fairly good performance. I put thought and effort into the performance impact of mod choices & config options, making CivPack fairly good all around. Lite is built on Fabulously Optimized.
- Most importantly, CivPack is comfortable and easy. Every config I could get my hands on is set up for the best out of box experience.
