LedgerCore is a purpose-built container audit layer for Paper and Purpur 26.2. Staff receive a Forensics Lens through /ledger inspect; right-click a chest, barrel, dispenser, dropper, shulker box, or hopper to open a clean investigation interface.
The timeline shows the item, amount, action, player, relative timestamp, and location. Its newest entries sit to the right, while paging keeps even long histories responsive. Left-click an entry to mark Time A and right-click another to mark Time B. The comparison view reconstructs the saved snapshots and displays the exact item difference between those points in time.
Filters are practical rather than cosmetic: refine an open investigation by player, material, or deposit/withdrawal action. Export the filtered history to a Discord-ready .txt report. Staff with ledger.rollback can restore an individual item movement without rolling back a whole region or world.
LedgerCore stores its own 30-day configurable audit history in SQLite by default, with MySQL available in config.yml. Container identities use persistent block data, and each record carries its world location plus container owner metadata. No external database or web service is required.
For high-value theft monitoring, staff can toggle item-specific notifications with /ledger alert <item>. When WorldGuard is installed, LedgerCore checks that a withdrawal occurs inside an applicable region before notifying subscribed staff. CoreProtect is optional; LedgerCore does not require it to keep its own exact container history.
