Redux: A Minecraft Reimagined

In the beginning, there was Alpha. Simple. Brutal. Mysterious. Redux is not just a mod. It is a return to that spirit — and a journey far beyond it.
Redux is a total conversion for Minecraft that strips away the familiar and replaces it with something raw, dangerous, and deeply its own. No vanilla items. No vanilla recipes. No safety nets. Just you, a hostile world, and the slow, hard climb from nothing to something.
A World That Wants You Dead The land is not kind. From the endless oceans of Oceanland to the dense forests of Forestland, from the frozen reaches of Greenland to the scorched sands of Desertland, every biome has its own dangers.
Custom ores lie hidden in the depths: sulfur, silver, and the strange, alien altcereus fruit. The blocks you build with are yours to discover: sandstone bricks, igneous stone, depth stone, and more. Nothing is given. Everything is earned.
Progression Without Mercy You start with nothing. Punch a tree. Craft wooden tools. But even those are not the tools you know — they are Redux tools, made from Redux wood, with Redux recipes. From there: stone, iron, steel, silver, gold, diamond. Each tier is a wall to climb.
The Path of Magic Mana flows through the world. You can learn to shape it with staves, crystals, and runes. Fire magic crackles at your fingertips. Holy light can sear the undead. Darker arts whisper of vampirism and demonology. The Altar of Redemption waits for those who seek forgiveness — or power. A karma system watches your choices: the world reacts to who you are becoming.
Vampires and Paladins Two paths stand in opposition. Become a vampire: drink blood, transform, gain dark strength — but the sun becomes your poison. Hunt vampires as a paladin: wield the holy cross, cleanse dungeons, and protect the innocent. Or walk the line between, and see which side claims you first.
Dungeons of the Elements Beneath the surface lie dungeons dedicated to primal forces: Earth, Holy, and more to come. Each has its own bricks, doors, keys, chests, and spawners. Golems guard the halls. Dungeon eyes watch your every step. Paladin-only doors open for the worthy. The loot is worth the risk — but the risk is very real.
Energy and Machines For those who prefer to build rather than fight, Redux offers a simple but satisfying tech tree. Generators produce energy. Capacitors store it. Emitters channel it. Heaters, launchpads, and repair tables let you shape the world in new ways. It is not a complex tech mod — it is a tool for survival.
A Living, Breathing Alpha Redux is inspired by the Alpha era, but it is not a museum piece. It is alive. New dungeons, mobs, biomes, and systems are being added.

Join the Journey Redux is made by IBTxI, a solo developer with a vision. It is not perfect. It is not finished. But it is something different — a Minecraft that feels like the first time you played, when everything was unknown and the night was terrifying.
Download Redux. Punch a tree. See how far you get.
Redux: because sometimes you need to go back to go forward.
