InstantPearlCatch

InstantPearlCatch makes instant pearl catches, or IPCs, work in vanilla Minecraft.

Without InstantPearlCatch, vanilla Minecraft prevents consistent IPCs with ender pearls and wind charges.

Installation

Install on the server. A client-only install on multiplayer servers will not affect server-authoritative projectile timing.

Behavior

  • Allows ender pearls to catch wind charges during same-tick IPC throws.
  • Makes IPCs depend on player timing instead of vanilla tick-order variation.
  • Still preserves vanilla projectile movement and collision behavior outside the IPC timing window.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft Java 1.21 through 1.21.11
  • Minecraft Java 26.1 through 26.1.2

Requirements

  • Fabric Loader 0.18.2 or newer for Minecraft Java 1.21.x
  • Fabric Loader 0.19.2 or newer for Minecraft Java 26.1.x
