Custom resource pack warning: When installing this modpack, you may see a warning about a resource pack that isn't hosted on Modrinth. It's a custom pack built with VanillaTweaks, a well-known site for creating personalized resource pack bundles. It's bundled directly in the modpack's overrides, not downloaded from an external source, so it's completely safe, the warning just means Modrinth can't verify it against its own database since it was never uploaded there.

Purpose

This modpack was created to make the Backrooms experience more fun while still keeping it scary. To achieve this, the modpack utilizes quality-of-life mods, visual enhancements, minor details, immersive sounds, emotes, and the Minecraft Backrooms Found Footage by SpacePotato.

The Backrooms: Minecraft Backrooms Found Footage

This is the core mod of the project, developed by SpacePotato. It brings the Backrooms into Minecraft with an incredible level of detail. Press "R" to turn on flashlight.

This mod includes the following levels:

1. Level 0
2. Level 1
3. Level 2
4. Leve 324 (extra)
5. The Poolrooms
6. The infinite Grass Field

If the mod does NOT work, make sure you're following all of the steps below:

• Do not use sodium or iris.
• Do not use Fabulous! graphics. Only Fast or Fancy
• Do not remove Veil's deferred resource pack

Enhanced visuals and animations

This modpack includes mods and resource packs to improve animations and fine visual details. You can also ping distances and locations by clicking the middle mouse button. Some examples include:

Multiplayer

You can play multiplayer by using Essentials mod or World Host. It is also highly recommended to enable Simple Voice Chat to make the experience more immersive and enjoyable.

Custom soundboard

You can import your own sound and play them in-game. Press "X" to open soundboard and "Z" to stop a sound.

Custom emotes

You can also import custom emotes or use the default emotes provided Emotecraft. Press "G" to open the emotes menu.
