This is a simple and practical Minecraft Forge (1.20.1) mod, designed specifically for developers and players who need debugging tools. Features

Standalone Log Window: Automatically pops up an independent Java Swing window when the client launches.

Real-time Log Interception: Intercepts all Log4j2 log outputs and displays them in real-time within the window, making it easy to track mod loading and game performance.

Safe to Close: Closing the log window directly will not crash the game. You can safely close it at any time.

Memory Control: Supports a customizable line limit to prevent high memory usage during extended gameplay sessions.

How to Use

Download the packaged .jar file.

Place it into your .minecraft/mods folder.

Launch the game, and the log window will automatically appear.

Configuration

After launching the game for the first time, a logwindows-client.toml file will be generated in the config directory:

maxLines: Sets the maximum number of lines retained in the log window. The default value is -1 (unlimited). You can set it to 10000 to prevent the log from becoming too long and consuming too much memory.
