About Chymistry
Chymistry introduces interactive chemical workflows and physical alchemical processes to Minecraft. Moving away from instant crafting table recipes and single-block machines, the mod emphasizes hands-on manipulation of materials: preparing raw reagents, managing reaction temperatures, separating solutions through distillation, and performing in-world chemical reactions.
Core Concepts
Material Preparation
Break down raw minerals, botanicals, and organic materials into fine powders and reactive agents using manual grinding stations. Rhythmic processing prepares compounds for subsequent metallurgical and chemical procedures.
Thermal Metallurgy & Synthesis
Reactions inside crucibles depend on environmental temperatures. Heat sources beneath crucibles drive smelting and chemical transformations, requiring thermal awareness to avoid stalling reactions or triggering volatile overheats. Dedicated workshop tools allow safe handling and monitoring of heated vessels.
Distillation & Liquid Chemistry
Separate liquid mixtures and isolate volatile compounds through fractional distillation. Vaporized reagents condense into adjacent glassware, producing concentrated solvents, mineral acids, and specialized alchemical solutions.
In-World & Environmental Applications
Extend laboratory byproducts into survival applications, including specialized surface treatments, accelerated composting, structural enhancements, and functional utility items.
Recipe Lookup
Chymistry features full integration with Just Enough Items (JEI). All recipe types, processing stations, and temperature requirements can be browsed directly in-game.

Building from Source
To build Chymistry from source, clone the repository and run the Gradle wrapper:
