Cheerful 😄
Sometimes, simple text just isn't enough to express your emotions. You'd want to use emojis in such special cases, but Minecraft doesn't support them. Well it does, but the way they look expresses only one emotion - confusion.
Cheerful replaces those pesky Unicode symbols with styled emojis.
Expressing Yourself 💛
Unicode has thousands of different emojis, some of them aren't actually characters, but rather combinations of such. They use what is called a Zero-Width Joiner to combine to emojis together and get a completely new one.
Minecraft, with its limited emoji support, can only handle single-character emojis. This means that only around a thousand emojis are actually implementable.
👀 Psst...
Cheerful, as for now, supports around 100 different emojis for all use cases. But you're welcome to contribute to the project by suggesting your own ones in the Workshop!
