This resourcepack simply modifies Minecraft's Font by adding some text shading to the bottom of characters. Also works with colored text as seen in the headers! Supports Minecraft 1.6 and up!
Note: While it may look like this pack is abandoned, this is not the case! Whenever a new Minecraft version releases, the latest file will eventually be playtested and tagged for this version if successful. Since major changes to the game's font only happen very rarely, there is usually no need to upload a new file.
Q1: Can I use this font pack for my modpack?
A1: Yes, you may include my font pack in your modpacks on Curseforge and Modrinth. Do keep this project's license in mind if you happen to have other plans with it, however.
Q2: Does this pack require the [insert Optifine or its counterparts here] mod?
A2: No, this pack does not require any mods. However it should work with any mods and shaders. The shader used in the headers is the Bliss Shader.
Q3: Why is this pack not working?
A3: Since this is a font edit, ensure that you first drop it into your resourcepacks folder, then select it in your resourcepacks menu in-game for its tweaks to take effect. Ensure that you got the correct file for the Minecraft version you are playing on and that it is above any other font changing packs in the resourcepacks menu.
Q4: Why does it say it was made for an older/newer version of Minecraft?
A4: You usually don't need to worry about that warning, it should still work correctly since this pack only edits the font. Check the MC versions in the description of the pack (in the resourcepacks menu) to ensure you downloaded the correct file.
Q5: Why are some texts so dark and hard to read?
A5: Due to the nature of shaded font packs, this is a side effect of them. Most notably for texts on scoreboards and nametags if you use shaders. It is also recommended not to use it with some dark GUI packs as it may make some container texts much harder to read. Most texts should be fine however.
Bonus Q: What is this and how do I get rid of it?!
Bonus A: Unlike your usual Thaumcraft flux rift, this one could be a special one disguised as an entire font pack! You can get rid of it just like any other resource pack. And be more careful with all that flux next time, okay?
