V1.03

Corrected hand poses for all seven axes: wooden, stone, copper, iron, golden, diamond and netherite. The hand models use a dedicated parent with first-/third-person angles matched to the artwork diagonal and mirrored for both hands. The grip and head are therefore correctly oriented in the source models; translation, scale and thickness, textures/PBR and inventory appearance are preserved. Other tools are unchanged. In-game acceptance of the pose remains pending.
-
Cobblestone and Mossy Cobblestone: removed the narrow duplicated mirrored strip at tile joins. Corrected albedo and PBR in a narrow border region; stone faces and restrained moss in the inner 832×832 region remain pixel-identical. Both materials have compatible joins, including mixed tiling; a 9×9 preview and all six scaling levels were checked technically. Existing top faces, sides, stairs, slabs and walls use the corrected materials. UVs and geometry are unchanged; see the following change for bottom-face mapping. In-game/shader verification remains pending.
-
Refined cobblestone transitions following further screenshot feedback: replaced softened microdetail in the narrow blend strips with a single coherent detail field. Material contrast is matched to the original native detail; other stone surfaces are preserved; tile endpoints were subsequently corrected separately. Matching normal/height maps updated; specular unchanged. Both materials and all six scaling levels checked technically. Recheck in-game sharpness after activation; no graphics settings changed.
-
Redesigned shield from the user reference: curved sides, tapered point, dark wooden planks and substantial iron rim, without axes. Fastening heads on the wood, including at the top/bottom of the middle planks. Dedicated thin 3D model with grip and matching front/rear faces including PBR; normal/blocking rendering and all display contexts updated. Native 1024×2048 full-face textures are retained in 1024/512/256, then 512×1024, 256×512 and 128×256. No upscaling or changed blocking mechanics. Banner patterns are not rendered by the custom model; saved pattern data is preserved. Inspect hand positions and shaders in-game.
-
Corrected shield rendering faults from test V1.02.003: explicitly registered front, rear and rim sprites in the item atlas so the custom model can resolve the existing entity textures. Aligned model origin and grip with the vanilla shield coordinate system, removing the extra offset. UVs, native image detail and PBR preserved. Normal/blocking rendering for both hands and inventory checked technically; recheck actual appearance in-game.
-
Fixed the duplicated two-pixel strip at cobblestone tile joins: neighboring periodic samples are filtered instead of copying the same edge row to both sides. Restored native albedo/height endpoints from the existing generated master and updated matching normals; specular unchanged. Applies to normal and mossy cobblestone, including PBR and all shapes. All six tiers checked for distinct opposite albedo edge rows and compatible mixed joins. In-game inspection is still required.
-
Shield UV atlases, including patterns and PBR, use special dimensions: 1024/512/256 preserve source resolution. The first halving occurs at 128 relative to 256; 64 uses one quarter and 32 one eighth. Regular inventory artwork continues to follow the general scaling rule.
-
Normal and mossy cobblestone now use their respective side masonry material, including PBR, on bottom faces as well. Applies to both full blocks, slabs and all stair shapes: twelve bottom texture references updated. The former bottom artwork is no longer used there; raster sources and geometry unchanged. Inspect bottom faces in-game.
-
Performance update: 128/64/32 reduce all textures outside title/menu graphics, including the remaining GUI, chests, leaf cards and PBR, to 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 per axis relative to the 256 quality baseline. Regular 1024 images, including leaf cards, follow every step starting at 512; special atlases remain native at 256 and above. 3D geometry remains intact. Aim: lower texture memory requirements; FPS/frame-time measurement pending.

Ziel: geringerer Texturspeicherbedarf; FPS-/Framezeitmessung offen.
