Luminol Republic - Nebula Sounds (Resource Pack)

The sound side of the Luminol Republic nebula add-on. It registers a sound called luminol:nebula.surge with two clip slots, and Minecraft picks one at random each time it plays (50% each).

This pack works together with the Luminol Nebula Sounds (Datapack), which plays the sound on a timer. You can also use it alone and play the sound yourself with a command.

What it does

• Adds the sound event luminol:nebula.surge in the Ambient volume category (use the Ambient/Environment slider in Music & Sounds).
• Two clips share equal weight, so each play is a coin flip. The same clip can play twice in a row.
• Clips are streamed, so long ambient sounds don't take much memory.
• Adds a subtitle, "Nebula surges".

Bring your own sounds

This download doesn't include audio. Add two clips you have the right to use:

1. Convert them to OGG Vorbis (.ogg). Stereo is fine and sounds best for ambience.
2. Name them nebula_a.ogg and nebula_b.ogg.
3. Put them in assets/luminol/sounds/ inside the pack.
4. Tip: add a short fade in and fade out
