Texture Tweaks:
- Fixed beds using their world model at full size instead of item icon
- Fixed mob textures that got broken with new Minecraft updates
- Fixed title screen textures glitching out when Programmer Tweaks is used on older versions of Minecraft
- New tweaked stone texture (more faithful and less noisy than the previous one)
- Spiders got their old spots back, and cave spiders are blue again
- Old animals look more like their old textures (recently added animals haven't been modified yet)
- Tweaked the grass and foliage colors to feel more beta-ish
- Updated tweaked grass top texture to look more like beta grass
- Tweaked dry grass texture to blend into sand better (it still sticks out like a sore thumb in badlands unfortunately)
- All skeletons and zombies were tweaked to have their original steve-like faces
- Replaced tweaked glowstone texture with an older version of Jappa's glowstone texture
- Tweaked colors on podzol and dirt path to match the old colors
- Tweaked diamond textures to have their old colors
- Tweaked diamond texture slightly to look better and more like the original
- Diamond and gold ores are now shiny again (the vanilla darker greenish color for diamonds feels nostalgic but made me mistake glow lichen for diamonds constantly)
- Removed some texture tweaks that were just saturation boosting
Note: Programmer Tweaks no longer compensates for Minecraft's broken skylight by brightening up the grass colormap. This solution only worked for grass, so it wasn't a good solution.

Sound Tweaks:
- Blocks no longer have fully unique footstep/break/place sounds (netherrack uses stone sounds, copper uses iron sounds, paintings use wood sounds, etc.)
- Footsteps now mirror the block hit sounds and are audible again
- Existing sounds are reused a lot more often (sometimes with pitch differences)
- Animals get their old sounds back (new animals were not changed because it would require creating entirely new sounds)
- Swimming and splashing now use the old splash sound
- Doors have their old sounds
- Bows and crossbows have the classic bow sounds (but with volume lowered a little)
Gameplay Tweaks:
I have created a datapack called Betta Balance to go along with Programmer Tweaks. While Programmer Tweaks makes aesthetic changes, Betta Balance changes Minecraft's gameplay. It is meant to rebalance Minecraft so that it is a survival focused game again (like beta).
Right now Betta Balance is in a pretty playable state, but I recommend that you only use it on new worlds because its effects cannot be removed by simply deleting it.
Betta Balance can be found here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/betta-balance/
There are probably some other changes to Programmer Tweaks that I'm forgetting... This might be Programmer Tweak's largest update.
