Some wolf variants may not be available to spawn naturally because of the inapplicable spawning conditions in older versions such as:

  • Rusty Wolves in the Sparse Jungle biome
  • Spotted Wolves in the Savanna Plateau
  • Striped Wolves in the Wooded Badlands
