v2.5 Beta 5: Light and Atmosphere Update

A fresh look for your worlds, with reworked lighting, shadows and clouds. No extra texture pack required.

• Reworked shadows to address dark patterns on block surfaces.
• Softer sunlight and more balanced lighting in shaded areas.
• New volumetric clouds with internal shading and water reflections on higher quality profiles.
• Six quality profiles: Compatibility, Fast, Balanced, Ultra, Cinematic and Extreme.
• Optional material mapping and parallax are disabled by default.

Start with Balanced, or try Ultra for richer clouds and shadows. Cinematic and Extreme increase GPU load further.

Experimental beta: automated compilation and GPU rendering checks passed on an RTX 5060. Gameplay, performance and compatibility still need verification for this build.

When reporting issues, include your Minecraft version, loader version, GPU, quality profile and a screenshot.
