Armor that is made of glass has no base stats. You can use this to show off trims without that pesky armor behind it. But you can also enchant the armor still if you decided that you just wanted to show off your skin without too much of a loss.

A vanilla-ish mod that adds 2 new tool and armor sets: STEEL, which is in between iron and diamond, and ENDERSTEEL, which is above netherite.
