Remnants Trailer

Born from the depths of the underworld, Remnants introduces cinematic boss encounters, dangerous undead creatures, and fast-paced combat designed to challenge even the most experienced adventurers. Featuring custom AI, animations, models, textures, sound effects, and music, every battle feels unique and memorable.

**Remnant Bosses** adds animated boss fights, remnant mobs, legendary weapons, and altar rituals for Minecraft **1.20.1** (Forge + Fabric) and **1.21.1** (NeoForge + Fabric). ### Bosses | Boss | Title | Summon item (default) | | --- | --- | --- | | **Ossukage** | Oni Shogun | Nether Star | | **Kotsukage** | Bone Sovereign | Wither Skeleton Skull | | **Umbrakar** | Riftmaw Colossus | Echo Shard | Each boss has a boss bar, multi-phase combat, custom GeckoLib animations, and JAuml-tunable stats. Spawn eggs are available in the **Remnant Bosses** creative tab for testing. ### How to summon a boss All three bosses use the same **Ancient Altar** layout. Requirements and pedestal blocks differ per boss (see table below). #### 1. Craft the ritual blocks | Block | Recipe | | --- | --- | | **Ancient Altar** (×1) | 3× Chiseled Deepslate across the top row, 1× Diamond in the center, 2× Emerald on the bottom corners | | **Ancient Pedestal** (×4) | 1× Emerald on top, 1× Chiseled Deepslate in the middle, 3× Chiseled Deepslate along the bottom row | Recipes are shaped crafting; see JEI/REI in-game. #### 2. Build the ritual Place **one Ancient Altar** and **four Ancient Pedestals** three blocks away on the four cardinal sides. On top of each pedestal, place the boss-specific activation block (one block above the pedestal). Top-down layout (activation blocks shown; `A` = altar, `P` = pedestal): ``` [pedestal 4 / north] | [pedestal 2]—[ altar ]—[pedestal 1 / east] | [pedestal 3 / south] ``` - **Pedestal 1** — 3 blocks **east** of the altar (`+X`) - **Pedestal 2** — 3 blocks **west** of the altar (`-X`) - **Pedestal 3** — 3 blocks **south** of the altar (`+Z`) - **Pedestal 4** — 3 blocks **north** of the altar (`-Z`) All pedestals must be **Ancient Pedestal** blocks. The blocks on top must match the config for that boss exactly. #### 3.
