The Vanilla Experience is a light custom-coded modpack which is interchangeable with the vanilla game. Existing save files can be used and will continue to work when all mods have been removed. Containing mostly minor and some major tweaks, while staying true to the vanilla game experience.

A server can be created by just copying all mods into the server mods folder. Client-side-only mods will be disabled on launch without errors. There are also server files and steps inside how-to-install-server.txt available. Alternatively use the BisectHosting banner at the top for an automatic install.

The modpack contains 148 of Serilum's mods and the library Collective. The entire list can be found at the bottom of the page, feel free to pick and choose to supplement your current packs.

Since TVE stays true to vanilla Minecraft, it's fairly light on memory. In Singleplayer, 3GB of allocated RAM is generally more than enough for smooth performance. If you're hosting or playing with several players, the maximum 8GB should comfortably cover it.

Brown mooshrooms will spawn naturally alongside red mooshrooms in a mushroom biome. The campfire gives players and passive mobs the regeneration effect, and disables hostile mob spawns around. The Killer Rabbit has a chance of being born from two normal rabbits and can be tamed with a golden carrot. Bottles o' enchanting can be created from a player's xp by sneak+right-clicking an empty bottle. Edibles: These ingredients give short potion effects! Create custom areas with signs! A Compass and Clock shows up in the GUI when they are held in the inventory. Villager trades will never lock up, making them always available and allowing infinite trading. The totem of undying works anywhere in the inventory, you no longer have to hold it. Chop down trees instantly by holding the crouch button. The sapling will automatically be replaced. This will quickly make you hungry though! It is possible to create 1x2, 1x3 and 2x2 nether portals. All nether portals will slowly spread nether blocks into the overworld. You can stop the rain in survival mode with the following ritual: Place at least 4 cauldrons around a log and set the log on fire with a flint & steel. There will be an explosion, the cauldrons will be filled with water, and the rain will stop. You can set your spawn point inside any preferred campfire, works for all dimensions. Receive a short fire resistance effect on respawn.

	Bottle Your Xp	Allows the creation of experience bottles (bottles o' enchanting) from your own gathered xp.
	Bottled Air	Allows players to breathe in empty glass bottles under water for more oxygen.

	Breedable Killer Rabbit	Makes the killer rabbit/bunny tamable and available by breeding.

	Campfire Spawn and Tweaks	Respawn interdimensionally with short fire resistance inside a preferred campfire with altered block mechanics. Place unlit, lighting it will create a home camp spawn point. Remove waterlogging.
	Cave Spider Spawn	Adds a chance for cave spiders to spawn naturally underground instead of a spider.
	Chorus Fruit Drops Nearby	When breaking chorus plants, all chorus fruit will drop at the base position.
	Collective	Collective is a shared library with common code for all of Serilum's mods.
	Compact Help Command	Modifies the /help command to show all information, be colourful and have multiple pages.
	Conduits Prevent Drowned	Disables drowned zombie spawns around the player when the conduit effect is active.
	Configurable Despawn Timer	Allows items and experience orbs to remain longer, shorter or infinitely on the ground.
	Crying Ghasts	Ghasts drop their tears periodically when a player is close, allowing sustainable farming.
	Crying Portals	Allows the creation of nether portals with crying obsidian blocks.

	Cycle Paintings	Easily cycle through placed paintings by right-clicking them with another painting in hand.
	Death Backup	Creates back-ups of player inventories before death, which can be loaded via commands.
	Despawning Eggs Hatch	Chicken eggs on hay blocks hatch safely into chicks just before they despawn.
	Dismount Entity	Allows players to dismount/remove/exit entities/mobs from mounted entities without breaking them.
	Double Doors	Multiple identical double doors, trapdoors and fence gates can be opened simultaneously.
	Dragon Drops Elytra	A minimalistic mod that makes the Ender Dragon drop an elytra on death.
	Easy Elevators	Easily go up and down fast via multiblock elevators! Highly configurable, using existing resources.
	Easy Elytra Takeoff	Allows easy takeoff by elytra/colytra with a firework from the ground without jumping.
	Edibles	Makes lots of ingredients edible, after which the player receives a short status effect. Allows eating blaze powder, glowstone dust, magma cream, sugar, ghast tear, phantom membrane and rabbit's foot.
	Enchanting Commands	Easy creation of (modded) enchanted items via commands with levels above the default limit.
	Enchantment Level Cap Indicator	Displays a symbol next to enchanted item tooltips when they reach their max level.
	End Portal Recipe	Makes the end portal craftable, movable and available in survival plus other tweaks.

	GUI Effect Timer	Displays time remaining text inside the mob effect badge on the screen.
	GUI Followers	Shows a list in the GUI/HUD of all tamed non-sitting followers around.
	Hand Over Your Items	Adds to ability for in-game players to give each other itemstacks without dropping/tossing them.
	Healing Campfire	Creates an area around the (soul) campfire where players and passive mobs receive regeneration.
	Hide Hands	Hide your offhand and/or main hand in first person, optionally while holding specific items like a torch, totem of undying or a shield.
	Hoe Tweaks	Faster crop block breaking, increased hoe radius and the ability to un-till soil.
	Husk Spawn	Adds a chance for husks to spawn naturally everywhere in place of a zombie.
	Ice Prevents Crop Growth	Crops growing with ice underneath will remain in the same stage, for design purposes.
	Improved Sign Editing	Better sign editing functionality. Shift to the next and previous line during typing.
	Infinite Trading	Prevents villager trades from locking up, making them always available. Trade away!
	Inventory Mending	Allows mending items inside the inventory to be repaired without being equipped.
	Inventory Totem	Makes the totem of undying effect work when it's anywhere in the inventory.
	Just Mob Heads	Adds a configurable chance for mobs to drop their head, using vanilla resources only.
	Just Player Heads	Allows the collection of player heads via command or death event.
	Keep My Soil Tilled	Keeps farmland soil tilled below a stem block (melon/pumpkin) after harvesting.
	Kelp Fertilizer	Kelp seaweed naturally filters sea water for rich nutrients. Kelp works like bone meal.
	Milk All The Mobs	Allows sheep, llamas, pigs, donkeys, horses and mules to produce a bucket of milk.
	Mineral Chance	Players can find minerals inside stone-type blocks when mining in the overworld and nether.
	Mooshroom Spawn	Adds a chance for mooshrooms to spawn naturally everywhere in place of a cow.
	Mooshroom Tweaks	Allows both red and brown mooshrooms to spawn naturally in their biome.
	More Zombie Villagers	Allows changing the default chance a zombie spawns as the villager variant.

	No Hostiles Around Campfire	Prevents hostile mob spawns and burns them around the campfire in a configurable radius.
	Nutritious Milk	Adds nutritious value to milk, filling up the food bar and saturation when consumed.
	Omega Mute	The only mod you'll need to have full control over individual in-game sound.
	Ore Harvester	Harvest entire ore veins instantly and drop ore items at the initial block position. An updated alternative to the vein miner / veinminer mods.
	Overworld Piglins	Makes Piglins and Hoglins be able to survive in the overworld, unless they're weakened.
	Paper Books	Allows the creation of books with 9 paper.
	Passive Endermen	Prevent an enderman from teleporting, placing/picking up blocks (griefing) and attacking when looked at.
	Passive Shield	The shield is hidden and provides protection passively when held idle in the offhand.
	Persistent Inventory Search	Makes search queries remain inside the creative inventory during tab switching and closing.
	Pet Names	Gives tamable baby animals a pre-defined name.
	Piglin Names	Gives all piglins a default or custom name to liven up the world.
	Pumpkillager's Quest	SpookyJam 2022: Help out the Pumpkillager! With custom encounters, rewards and a boss fight you'll get immersed in the story. Spawn him by breaking a pumpkin in this spooky scary Halloween style mod!
	Quick Paths	Create long paths instantly by setting a start and end point.
	Quick Right-Click	Adds a portable functionality to certain items, which allows for quick access without placement. Works with beds, crafting tables, ender chests and shulker boxes among others.
	Rain Be Gone Ritual	Adds the ability to stop the rain via a multi-block structure ritual in survival.
	Random Bone Meal Flowers	Randomizes the flowers spawned by bonemeal, allowing all (modded) types to spawn everywhere.
	Random Sheep Colours	Gives new sheep spawns a random wool/fleece color based on a configurable list.
	Random Shulker Colours	Gives new shulker spawns a random shell color based on a configurable list.
	Random Village Names	All villages receive a randomized name, shown in the GUI via the Areas mod.

All of Serilum's mods in this project may be freely used in any other modpack, as long as the download remains hosted within the CurseForge or Modrinth ecosystem.
