Happy Anniversary

Near the day I post this, it has been 14 years from the first ABBA Rules Match, in the Mindcrack Server, between VintageBeef and AnderZEL.

WARNING

This datapack is NOT meant for survival or SMP server worlds, installing this will overwrite loot, clear inventories, etc. It is meant to be played in a brand new world only for this, installing like it says in the instructions below.

ABBA Rules Caving

The objective is to collect ores, and some other interesting items in loot as in Mineshafts. Each one has a different point value. Combine common and rare to be the winner of the match!

Datapack Content

• Configurable Ore Points (in Lobby)
• Configurable Equipment, Effects and Difficulty
• Configurable Match Time
• Match Leaderboard and Statistics
• Winner Bundle (if wanted)

Installation

1. Create a new world with Cheats/Commands enabled.
2. Add the datapack in the datapacks directory.
3. Exit and enter the world, or restart the server.
4. Run the command /function abba_rules:setup
5. If there is any light glitch, leave and rejoin.
6. Then, you can change the options in the lobby, lock them with the menu, and invite other players to start the match! Have fun!

Templates

In the host menu, there is a button to go to the Templates menu. In this menu, you can copy to the clipboard a command, that when ran, will set all settings to the ones saved when copied.

There are two types of template commands, the simple one, that only has ore and item values, or the full, that has equipment, time, etc.

This was made to make world changes a bit easier and prevent the need of a lot of arrow clicking.
