Altered - Random Chunks

Random Chunk is a Minecraft Java datapack where walking into a new chunk replaces every solid block in it with one randomly chosen block type. Air, water, and lava are left alone.

How it works

• Step onto a chunk you have not visited yet — all solids become the same random block
• The actionbar shows which chunk was converted and what it became
• Return later and the chunk stays as it was
• Overworld, Nether, and End are tracked separately
• The spawn chunk is converted on first load too

The pool includes stone, deepslate, planks, logs, concrete, wool, terracotta, ores, nether blocks, end stone, glass, ice, slime, honey, and a lot more — one type per chunk.

Install

Drop the zip into the world’s datapacks folder, then run /reload.

/function randomchunk:pause /function randomchunk:resume /function randomchunk:toggle
