What is Armor Stand Poser
Armor Stand Poser is a datapack that lets you pose armor stands using a stick, just like a debug stick, without having to type long commands or install heavy mods.
It is made for anyone who wants to decorate their builds, set up detailed scenes, or create statues with natural poses by interacting directly with the armor stand.
How to get the stick
- Combine a stick and an armor stand in a Crafting Table or Crafter to get the Poser Stick.
- Take a regular wooden stick, sneak (Shift), and right-click on any armor stand that has already been modified before. The stick will turn into the Poser Stick.
- Using commands, by running
/function armor_stand_poser:give.
How to use it
Hold the Poser Stick in your main hand and walk up to an armor stand while looking at it:
- Left-click on a part: changes the rotation axis you want to work on (X, Y, or Z). Above your hotbar, you will see the active axis and current angle appear.
- Right-click on a part: rotates that body part by the selected angle.
- Shift + Right-click: rotates the part in the opposite direction.
/trigger as_menu: opens a menu with all the stand settings.
Stand settings and options
From the chat menu, you can click directly on the options:
- Angle step: choose how many degrees to rotate each time (1°, 5°, 15°, 45°, or 90°).
- Arms: toggle arms on or off.
- Size: switch the armor stand between normal and mini size.
- Base plate: remove or restore the stone plate on the ground.
- Suspended in air: removes gravity (NoGravity) to place armor stands floating mid-air without falling.
- Reset: resets all rotations back to the default neutral position.
