Resource Pack
Arwen's Furniture has a required resource pack! Make sure to install it before using. The resource pack can be found as a secondary file in each version description.
Description
Arwen's Furniture 2 is the long-awaited sequel to Arwen's Furniture! The pack contains all of the content of the original, but is built on a new, faster, simpler system which allows for add-on packs (which will be released separately).
This datapack adds a variety of high-quality 3D model furniture to the game. Dyeable furniture can now be dyed ANY COLOR using dyes in a crafting table.
The recipes for all furniture items are unlocked simply by logging into the world, and can be found in the crafting table recipe book.
Furniture Items
Wooden Furniture
Chairs, Tables, Large Tables, Benches (2 Seats), End Tables, and Dressers.
Dyeable Wooden Furniture
Cushioned Chairs, Tables with Tablecloths, Large Tables with Tablecloths, Cushioned Benches (2 Seats), Lounge Chairs, and Couches (2 Seats).

Some items, such as striped awnings and decorated banners, can be crafted with a decoration color, such as yellow, which will make part of the design yellow permanently, and the rest of the design dyeable with any dye in a crafting table.
Crafting / Dying Furniture
Furniture recipes are immediately unlocked through an advancement when joining the world. Furniture items can be crafted and dyed entirely in the crafting table. Any combination of dyes can be used one at a time or all at once on dyeable furniture items.
Placing Furniture
Furniture items will be listed as either a Floor Item, or Wall Item, and can only be placed on each surface respectively. Holding the item in the main or off and and right clicking on the correct surface will place the item down.
Interactable Furniture
Some furniture items, such as chairs and decorated banners, can be interacted with. Right clicking any type of seat will sit the player down onto the furniture. Items with "variants" in their description can be right clicked once placed down to change the variant of the item.
Commands
All furniture items can be obtained by operators using the proper get function commands. Examples:
function af.base:item/get/awning
(All Awnings),function af.base:item/get/wood/bench
(All benches),function af.base:item/get/wood/chair_dyed
(All cushioned chairs),
Settings
In some cases, other datapacks will cause issues with this datapack. In those cases, settings should be provided to reduce or resolve those issues. All settings can be found and modified using their proper functions: function af.base:setting/(setting name)
. (EX: function af.base:setting/shulker_hitbox
disables shulker hitboxes for tables).
Add-Ons
Arwen's Furniture 2 is a modular system that supports add-on datapacks. In the future, datapacks containing different sets of furniture will be released (Such as Appliances, Statues, etc.), which can be installed alongside Arwen's Furniture 2. This way, users can control which furniture items they would like players to use in their world. Add-ons will be released as datapacks, and the 3D models associated with each add-on will be added to the singular Arwen's Furniture 2 resource pack, updated on this page, in order to keep installing the resource pack as simple as possible.
