Passive

Fire magic

• Passively summons wisps that follow you around, giving you various ramping buffs the more wisps there are.
• Taking heavy hits consume a wisp to tank the damage for you and heals you. Attacking sends a wisp forward to burn anything in its path.
• Skill tree unlocks:
  • Base ability (3 max wisps, minor buffs)
  • Greater wisps (Stronger buffs)
  • Guardian wisps (Tanks 40% damage for you and heals 1 heart)
  • Angry wisps (Flies forward and burn enemies on hit)
  • Powerful wisps (Tanks 80% damage, heals 1 heart and gives 1 absorption heart, explodes on hit, even stronger buffs, requires all prior upgrades)
  • More wisps (+2)
  • Even more wisps (+1)
  • Faster wisps (+20% spawn speed)
  • Even faster wisps (+30% spawn speed)
  • Ultimate wisps (Requires all prior upgrades, wisps respawn speed and max count scales with health lost (max +4 wisps at 50% health and above, max +50% spawn speed at 50% and lower.
  • Disabled in desperation phase

Monster

• Hostile mobs are friendly to you.
• You are considered undead.
• You cannot trade with villagers, golems are hostile to you.

Soulless

• You can only get experience from killing other entities. The more innocent, the better.

Apotheosis

• You start with buffed stats, but cannot wear armor, and you're worse at using weapons.
• Skill tree unlocks:
  • Just a bunch of stat upgrades
  • Hopeless: Cause punches to wither
  • Dreamless: Cause punches to slow
  • Merciless: More damage to low health targets
  • Desperation form: Prevents death once + heal to full, stat buffs, ability buffs, toggleable
  • Hyper goner: triggers before desperation form, or can be used to trigger it early at 50% hp or less, basically just black hole with projectiles lol

Hover flight

• You have limited flight capabilities
• Skill tree unlocks:
  • Faster flight
  • Even faster flight
  • Hyperspeed (Active dash)

Check

• The last entity you hit will be highlighted and take extra damage from you. (Unlocked from Apotheosis branch probably)

Actives

Star blazing

• Calls down radiant stars from the heaven to strike a target
• Skill tree unlocks:
  • Base: 1 star (subsequent stars are inaccurate, first star is always on point)
  • Star fall: +1 star, faster stars
  • Star crash: +1 star, more AOE
  • Star shower: +1 star, stars explode into fast projectiles
  • Branch:
    • Star finisher: +1 beeg accurate star, explodes into smaller stars
    • Star barrage: +3 stars, stars fall much more rapidly and does more damage
  • Star storm: +1 star, stars twirl in the air, making them more unpredictable
  • Galacta blazing (Auto unlocked in desperation form if have star storm): +3 stars, much faster but more inaccurate stars, lower CD

Shocker breaker

• Summons lightning in a line in the direction you're looking
  • Skill tree unlocks:
  • Powerful lightning: More damage
  • Greater lightning: More range and damage
  • Faster lightning: ...Faster
  • Energize: Strike yourself with a bolt, giving you speed and strength
  • Dynamic lightning: You can aim the lightning after casting with your camera
  • Thunderclap: Directly strikes nearby targets
  • Thunderbolt: Also strikes the location you're looking at with a big bolt, even if out of range
  • Shocker breaker II (desperation form): Shoot 3 lanes of lightning instead that converge. End with 3 big bolts instead of one targetted bolt

Chaos saber

• Recast 3 times to do a slice to the left, right, then a lunge that leaves behind explosive stardust.
• Skill tree unlocks:
  • Bigger sabers: More range
  • Faster slash: Less delay between recasts
  • Combo slash: Landing each hit reduces cooldown by 10% and recast delay by 50%
  • Rapid slash: No delay between recasts, final lunge goes further
  • Flawless advance: First two slash also propels you forward slightly
  • Disengaging sigil: Can be used while sneaking to send you flying backward instead for a lower cooldown and leaves behind even more explosive stardust.
  • Riposte: Getting hit during the slash causes you to take no damage and stun the attacker instead.
  • Itani lo sahn: Getting hit by the lunge stuns
  • Chaos slicer (desperation): Alternate between slash and lunge 5 times, much bigger range and aoe.

Chaos buster

• For your neutral special, wield a gun. Ammo recharges over time (15 base)
• Skill tree unlocks:
  • Extended magazine: +5
  • Titanic magazine: +10
  • Goliath magazine: +10
  • Glutenic magazine: +5, scoring a hit has a chance to replenish ammo
  • Lifesteal rounds: What it says on the tin
  • Free hands: Can use other abilities without interrupting firing
  • Cross stream: Two floating blasters converge at the aim point, + fire rate
  • Triforce: And another one
  • Ramping destruction: Fire rates increases but accuracy decreases over time, +5
  • Overflow: Ammo can replenish 30% past the limit at a much slower rate, these rounds have much higher fire rates
  • Gaster: After enough ramping, start firing lasers
  • Chaos blaster (desperation): Summons blasters around the target as well, you have infinite ammo, can fire lasers, but do not ramp.

Angel of death

• Basically just the same, fires homing rockets. Only works in desperation form
• No point having a skill tree for this one
