Blastback Hotfix 2
Hotfix 2 is the reliability and administration release for Minecraft Java 1.21.1 and 26.2.
Fixed
- Reworked simultaneous and overlapping explosion capture so snapshots merge into one restoration group without freezing explosives or dropping partial work.
- Fixed missed TNT boundary blocks and explosion/container drops escaping the cleanup area.
- Fixed intermittent creeper detection by verifying the complete captured footprint and retaining unresolved snapshots across chunk unloads.
- Added resumable placement verification and retries. Saved blocks are retained until their state and block-entity NBT are confirmed.
- Corrected dependency restoration for gravity blocks, plants, attachments, doors, beds, redstone, fluids, and other update-sensitive blocks.
- Fixed large dense groups reaching Minecraft's 65,536-command chain limit by splitting capture, restoration, and final verification into smaller resumable command chains without reducing aggregate scan throughput.
- Preserved pre-existing items while suppressing explosion-generated block, container, and failed-restoration drops.
Administration
- Settings changes now use permission-checked admin functions and require OP permission level 2 or higher. Copied books and legacy triggers cannot bypass permissions.
/trigger erb.statusremains read-only for players.- Drop mode is now clearly labelled Convert destroyed blocks into items and requires a second confirmation within 30 seconds.
- Active groups retain the rebuild/drop mode they started with.
- Settings books are distributed only when deliberately requested by an admin.
- Added opt-in diagnostics and expanded status counts for capture, verification, retries, unresolved blocks, and group mode.
Compatibility and migration
- Added schema v9 migration while preserving source profiles, delay, placement amount, placement interval, animation, chain-TNT policy, master state, and pending snapshots.
- Legacy drop mode resets once to safe rebuild mode during migration.
- Separate release archives are provided for Java 1.21.1 and Java 26.2.
- Tested on official dedicated servers, including 32 overlapping TNT and a pinned Geophilic 3.6 terrain-generation compatibility stress case on 26.2.
This release does not promise compatibility with every mod, server fork, or future Minecraft version; report reproducible conflicts with exact versions and logs.
Note
- So sorry for the bad showcase Kasai
