- Well now you can! Using the Copper Rust Datapack, when stripping a copper block. You will receive a new item called Copper Rust Powder. Just hold it, and right click on the block you'd like to oxidize, and viola!

When stripping a Copper Block, Copper Door, or Copper Trapdoor. You will receive 1 whole Copper Rust Powder.

When stripping all other types of copper you will receive 1-6 Copper Rust Nuggets.

8 Copper Rust Nuggets can be combined in a crafting table to make 1 Copper Rust Powder.

This was done to prevent Copper Rust duplication via the crafting and subsequent stripping of copper slabs.
