### ⚠ This data pack is currently going through an extremely slow complete rewrite for Minecraft 1.21! [Public test builds are available here](https://github.com/Tschipcraft/deathanimations_test). ### If you like what you see, feel free to leave a follow to be notified when the update is ready! ## Features Mobs have new, _epic_ animations when they die. Inspired by [iChun's Mob Dismemberment mod](https://ichun.me/mods/mob-dismemberment/). **Works with:** Zombies, Husks, Skeletons, Strays, Creepers, Drowned, Spiders, Cave Spiders, Phantoms, Villagers, Pillagers, Evokers, Vindicators, Illusioners, Pigs, Cows, Chicken, Sheep, Iron Golem, Ravagers and Endermites. Most body parts can be picked up with a right-click. You can also use them inside a crafting table or even eat them. Make sure to adjust the data pack for your needs by opening the settings (`/trigger settings`) ## Installation Decide if you want to download the pack as a pure data pack [DP] or packaged as a mod [Mod]. Put the pure data pack .zip file into the datapacks folder of your Minecraft world, or the mod into your .minecraft/mods folder. Don't forget to also install the **resource pack** if you are playing with the data pack! ## Issues If you encounter an issue in v1.4 there is a likely chance it has already been fixed in the rewrite! If you find an issue in the rewrite, feel free to submit an issue. ## Compatibility Supported Minecraft versions
